She has distinguished herself as a physiotherapist in these fields, becoming the recipient of a clinical research internship grant from the Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec, this in collaboration with the Université de Sherbrooke in 2019. In 2020, she once again demonstrates her commitment to improving clinical practice by winning the prestigious Best Abstract Award in the Physiotherapy Rehabilitation category at the International Continence Society 2020 (ICS) Annual Congress.

Complementing her clinical practice, Sheinaz also holds a yoga teacher certification from the Sivananda International Yoga Center, a training that took her to India, to the root of true yoga practice. She integrates specialized yoga for the relief of chronic pelvic pain into her conventional practice.

Acupuncturist

Patrice has always been passionate about caring for others.

Soon after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, he landed his first job as a nurse. He wanted to surround himself with a team, so he became a health executive in Paris.

In Montreal, he followed the same path, earning a master’s degree in administrative sciences – management – from Université Laval in Montreal City. His career journey led him through two countries and three healthcare fields—oncology, palliative care and mental health—first as a caregiver and later as a manager.

In 2019, he becomes executive director for an non-profit organization , dedicated to home palliative care.

Throughout his career, he has always been fascinated by the management of physical and other types of pain. Hypnosis struck him as being an obvious and complementary option for pain management.

A 2008 graduate of the Institut Français d’Hypnose (IFH), he began practicing hypnosis in hospitals at the Institut Curie (Paris, France) as a consultant in pain management in palliative care and during surgeries.

His approach is to guide you in your journey to controlling your pain, be it muscular, pelvic or neuropathic, through hypnoanalgesia and somatic hypnotherapy, and by helping you reduce stress linked to painful symptoms.

Patrice is a member of the Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine (ACTMD) and can issue receipts for health insurance purposes.
