Gabriel Luciani

Hypnotherapist and NLP

After studying psychology for 3 years in France, he worked in the helping professions, accompanying people on their path to social and professional integration. Fascinated by altered states of consciousness and in search of profoundly effective and transformative tools, Gabriel naturally turned to hypnosis. Gabriel has a multidisciplinary background :

  • Hypnotherapist, École de Formation Professionnelle en Hypnose du Québec
  • NLP Master Practitioner, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Coaching Québec
  • Practitioner in Cardiac Coherence, Institut Emnergie (Dr David O’HARE)
  • Teacher of Mindfulness Meditation, Dr Roger Marcaurelle
  • Naturopath, Institut de Formation Naturopathique
  • Non-Violent Communication

Although Gabriel specializes in the management of stress, emotions, insomnia and anxiety-related symptoms, his field of action is much broader, as hypnosis can provide relevant tools for managing pain, addictions, phobias, depression, burn-out, achieving goals, etc. Through his natural empathy, deep listening skills, great sensitivity and creativity, Gabriel will give you the right tools and develop the right strategy to help you realize your full potential. This will give you the freedom to achieve greater well-being, serenity, relaxation, and relief. Patrice has always been passionate about caring for others.

Soon after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, he landed his first job as a nurse. He wanted to surround himself with a team, so he became a health executive in Paris.

In Montreal, he followed the same path, earning a master’s degree in administrative sciences – management – from Université Laval in Montreal City. His career journey led him through two countries and three healthcare fields—oncology, palliative care and mental health—first as a caregiver and later as a manager.

In 2019, he becomes executive director for an non-profit organization , dedicated to home palliative care.

Throughout his career, he has always been fascinated by the management of physical and other types of pain. Hypnosis struck him as being an obvious and complementary option for pain management.

A 2008 graduate of the Institut Français d’Hypnose (IFH), he began practicing hypnosis in hospitals at the Institut Curie (Paris, France) as a consultant in pain management in palliative care and during surgeries.

His approach is to guide you in your journey to controlling your pain, be it muscular, pelvic or neuropathic, through hypnoanalgesia and somatic hypnotherapy, and by helping you reduce stress linked to painful symptoms.

Patrice is a member of the Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine (ACTMD) and can issue receipts for health insurance purposes.
